This bag is severely damaged, and potentially beyond repair. It breaks my heart to throw away something technically usable (despite the leatherette flaking off almost entirely at the bottom, the inner lining is thick and stable enough to still actually hold items / the bag can be used functionally) and so iconic. I'm not looking to get any money for this -- if anyone wants it and is willing to just pay shipping, I'll ship it to you 💯. Literally the only reason this bag is not in the dumpster serving as a new home for a den of raccoons is because I didn't know if a lolita out there has either the technical skills or artistic vision that would make this damaged bag useful to them. I'm the kind of person to eat around mold and hoard bras from when I was 14... I just feel really crappy throwing anything away. 😭

As I'm sure most people know by now, the AP early 2010s era bags use a type of PU that's particularly decompository. All polyurethanes have a limited shelf life (anywhere from 18 months to 5 years max), but this particular blend was defeated simply by storage (and probably heat, we did have some hot years here in northern Cali). By pictures of the inside of the bag, you can see it's been well-taken care of when it was actively used -- no stains etc. on the interior. I carried this bag less than a dozen times, and then it was stored inside my closet for years. I did not know the pain it was going through all this time 😂
Again, please look at all the photos carefully and acknowledge you are essentially buying art. You're welcome to shave off the remaining leatherette and paint over the bottom, spray the existing exterior to fix the leatherette "in place", replace the straps etc. at your leisure, but no repairs on my end will be made (I don't have the know-how!). The bag is sold as-is.

Front of the bag: You know, actually not in bad shape. Some nicked distortion at the top. Both bows & logo in tact, relatively unblemished
Sides of the bag: Similar fate as the bottom, ripped to shreds
Edges of the bag: Decent, some flaking here and there
Back of the bag: Lots of nicks, indentation. Top part peeling quite a bit.
Straps of the bag: Goners, sorry.
Zipper: Nice, untarnished.
Inside: Pristine. If only that's how people are judged too 😂
