This would have been a great transaction! To break it down, seller shipped days after was originally said to ship, which is completely okay with me, but it wasn’t communicated. Once the skirt arrived, I examined it immediately. The hem was coming completely loose. Messaged seller to see if we could come to an agreement, I offered to send photos. I was completely shot down and there was no way she’d offer a partial refund, photos were not needed at that point. Only full refund if returned. I did not want to return this skirt, there was no “hidden motive.” Shipping prices to Australia at that time, were very expensive and I’d take a huge hit. Why couldn’t we just meet in the middle? This item was described as brand new with tags, completely unworn. Considering the sellers high rating, I didn’t think to ask for more photos. I’ll take responsibility for that. When I came to this seller with my concerns, she did not care and was completely cold once I brought up the issue. I did not threaten, they ignored me for a whole week, so I took it to PayPal because I thought it was unfair. All I asked was to make the skirt $200 USD flat, which I thought was still way over what this skirt should be selling for, and a good middle ground. Yes, I put in a fake tracking number in PayPal because it was the ONLY WAY to add more photos once she escalated the case. I made the case, and she gave me no time to respond to her through that case. I was still adding things in the midst of it all. I explained in a few screenshots what was happening to PayPal, and they understood. PayPal ended up giving me more than I asked, so I’m happy for that! I offered plan to ship with lowering the marked price on package (also not $10 but $20) and said I would be responsible for any package loss, which I believe is common case in international shipping to avoid the high importing tax, but the seller insisted on marking package as $100 which I can't understand and have to reject payment. Do be careful for international buyers who don't want to afford high tax. [MOD edit: buyer checked for shipping after purchase, seller does not want to mark down parcel, no transaction made]
