since buyer and I are in the same city, i shipped the dress to buyer's address for her to try on and it ended up a successful transaction.

sale ended up not going through due to the shipping cost being higher than expected when the seller went to double check at the post office. however, seller was very kind and upfront about everything and offered to either cover part of the cost or to cancel. communication was all very fast and clear. hopefully i'll be back in the future!
