This buyer indicated they were making a purchase for their daughter who desperately needed the dress before an event within two days, urged me to ship and I checked multiple times with them that they were sure they wanted to spend the $54-74 on a $20 dress and they said it was no issue. I even made the extra effort to communicate with the user, and ship out while there was ice on the roads in my town so that their daughter could get the dress on time. They complained about the dress not arriving on time at which point they requested a refund. I already had suspicions about the transaction and they were confirmed when I checked the buyers feedback. They are obviously attempting to get out of shipping by requesting immediate shipping delivery and requesting a refund when it is late. SELLER BEWARE

The buyer messaged me to request express shipping for this dress, since she needed it urgently for an event. She was willing to pay the additional cost of next-day air shipping, plus a bit extra due to the fact that I had to travel out of my way to a big city that has a UPS store. Unfortunately, the dress didn't arrive on time due to severe weather in the area, and about a week later, the buyer asked for a refund of the shipping fee because of this. I think this was a reasonable request - you shouldn't have to pay nearly $50 in shipping and not get the item within the promised delivery time - and I'm not leaving negative feedback for that reason. The reason I think this buyer deserves a negative score is because of her lack of courtesy in navigating the transaction. I never got a thank-you for being willing to cough up $48.50 with no prior warning, nor an apology for her lack of timely communication in response to my inquiry about the status of the dress, which I sent the day after I'd shipped it. She even had the nerve to ask me to "please reply ASAP" in her message asking for the refund, in spite of taking a week to reply to the message I'd sent. Very discourteous and unprofessional behavior, and I don't intend to do business with this buyer again.
Update: The buyer contacted me several days after I left this feedback to apologize for the situation, and she offered to send the $48.50 shipping cost refund back to me if it turned out I couldn't get reimbursed by UPS. The buyer held true to her word when I was unable to get a reimbursement from UPS, which I appreciate very much.

The buyer never paid for this item in spite of receiving 2 reminder messages during the week following the purchase date. And I know she wasn't just busy or dealing with an emergency situation, because she had time during this period to message me asking for a refund of the shipping cost of the previous item she'd purchased from me. I have to conclude that the buyer has backed out, and I'll need to relist the dress.
