I'm not sure if it's cotton or polyester; it feels very smooth and does wrinkle if folded. The fabric is lightweight and may show colour underneath.
I've kept this in storage for a few months and haven't steamed it back into shape.

Be aware, the fabric is offwhite and the lace is stark white. Looks cute with dresses that have both offwhite and white in them.
