Made to order in 2013 by Australian indie brand “We’re All Mad Here” (the brand dissolved many years ago and the owner/designer now operates under “Edenki”, selling brooches and jewellery. You can find some of her original WAMH fabric designs under that username on Spoonflower).
Wide-strap JSK with no shirring and a pleated skirt. Print features kawaii skulls that have heart-shaped eye sockets. The fabric is Duchess satin and has a slight sheen. The fabric has a lush, almost spongey feel. The dress is fully lined with a smooth, satin-type polyester. It has a side zipper and one pocket. Waist-ties attach to the dress with black, skull-shape buttons.

Imperfections of the dress
Unfortunately this material is one which can have a thread snag and cause a “pull” that disrupts the print. Please see photographs to view these pulls, which I believe are only noticeable upon close inspection – you can’t see them in outfit photos.
On the side with the zipper there is a small blemish just below the waist seam, under the narrow end of the waist-tie.
Listing also includes three accessories:
Two-way matching bow which can be used as a hair accessory, clipped to a beret, or slide a plain headband through it to make a KC.
Brooch, with a pin back, of a kawaii black skull which features the brand logo. I believe this is a laser-cut acrylic.
Necklace is the same material as the brooch and features a ribcage which has a heart drop at the base. The chain has bone charms along it.

Origin story/explanation:
I’ve never been completely happy with the colour of this dress as I had ordered the lavender colourway and instead received this *very pink* shade of lilac. Upon receipt I did contact the designer and explained my disappointment (the stock photos very clearly showed a difference between the lavender and pink colourways) and her response was less than satisfactory. As a result, I basically hated this dress and bundled it in storage after some unsuccessful attempts to sell it.
When I did a closet clear out a couple of years ago I came across this dress and decided to give it a chance. Recently, I’ve worn it twice but just felt it to be not quite right for me. So I would like to find it a new home to someone who will love and appreciate the design! Or, unpick the dress and use the fabric for a skirt or cushions! I don’t care! Just keep it out of landfill and give it many more years of good use :)
