Victorian Maiden Romanesque Rose Skirt in pink (2001)
Absolutely gorgeous gobelin print skirt by Victorian Maiden with cream cluny lace trims.
This was a dream item of mine, I’m quite sad to sell it but I don’t like how skirts look on myself. I adore other people’s skirt coords but idk not on myself.
I’d probably keep this if it had the matching camisole but sadly it was sold without it.
the skirt is from 2001 and it is in great condition for its age. I’ve not noticed any flaws except wrinkles on the waist and but it may have loose threads as well.
the lolibrary listing says that this skirt has a 60cm waist, however it fits me and there is no way a 60cm waist skirt would
I measured it to be about 64cm. The waist ties are not detachable and there is no shirring
Please see comment about the waist size, my dress form has a 26” waist and I couldn’t do the clasp up to take photos.

Oh god I've always wanted this skirt but am fat!
You said the waist measures at 64cm and has no shirring but it fits you. What is your waist measurement if you don't mind me asking?

Hi
I’ve owned smaller skirts that did not fit. I didn’t find it uncomfortable when I tried it on but everyone’s waist is different, my waist is 26”. However I would say it’s safer to stay within the measurements.
For reference my dress form has a 26” waist and I couldn’t quite do the clasp up when I put it on there for photos, but then that’s hard and not soft like a real waist.
I hope that helps.
I guess it could be altered with some of the waist ties to make it bigger.

Thank you! I'm at 80cm myself, far too chonk for almost anything VM has put out, but the idea of modifying is very tempting.
