I just received this dress and love it very much, but unfortunately cannot keep it due to an allergy.
One of the previous owners had washed this dress with an all-natural cleaner that has left a moderately strong perfume smell on the dress that I am very allergic to. I have had items before that were washed with the same cleaner and unfortunately there's not much that I can do that would remove the allergen and allow me to wear the dress. If you are someone who is very sensitive to perfumes like I am, then this may not be a good dress for you. If you do not have this sensitivity or feel like you can clean the dress and not have to worry about an allergy afterwards, then this would be a great one for you!
The dress certainly does not smell bad, but it's a scent that I am allergic to!
Other than the perfume scent, the previous owner stated that there was minor discoloration on the top lace, but I believe the lace on this release is just darker in general and that the discoloration is how the dress came all along. However, fair warning that this was listed, so you may be able to see something that I can't if in a different lighting. The back lacing is missing, but I have replaced a missing hook and eye and there is one tiny stain that is well hidden in the print (pictured) as well as minor bending in the bodice boning.
So to recap the damages:
-No back lacing ribbon
-One tiny stain
-Possibility of minor discoloration on lace
-Perfume scent
-Minor bends in bodice bones
Still, a very wearable dress with lots of life left! Please give it a good new home and be the happy owner of this fantastic print that I had hoped to be! Please note that the most accurate photo to the color is my first proof photo (full front of the dress). My LED lighting makes it hard to get accurate colors in photos, but for some reason that one came out fine.
Sizing from lolibrary:
bust: 83-97cm
waist: 62-76cm
Please note that you should be a few cm under the listed measurements in order for the dress to fit. I think 93~94cm would be the comfortable max for the best, and about 72~74cm for the waist.
The dress features a gorgeous, detailed print with gold glitter throughout, adjustable straps (four settings!) to help accomodate different heights, and back shirring. A great witchy piece just in time for Halloween!
