The dress has been modified, or rather, slightly improved:
Two thin satin bows with long tails were removed from the waist of the dress due to the bows being uneven and made of flimsy materials. The bigger satin bows at the hemline have been re-sewn by hand due to not being properly sewn together originally. The buttons down the front of the bodice were originally neither in a relatively straight row, all at a similar angle nor properly attached, and were therefore reattached to the bodice by hand. The reattaching of the buttons is a little heavy-handed; the layers of stitching is visible on the inside of the bodice (see the last picture).
This dress has been discontinued and removed from the Souffle Song website for several years now, so it is impossible to find the original size chart. I have tried to measure the dress and give an approximate size, but be aware of the fact that these are not the official measurements:
Bust: 90-102 cm (can be tied tighter with back lacing)
Waist: 79-84 cm (can be tied tighter with back lacing)
Total dress length: 86 cm
Skirt length: 50 cm
NB! The shirring panel in the back is 15-17 cm wide unstretched and untightened. This means that you potentially could tighten the dress at least 12 cm more than the minimum measurements above (90 cm bust and 79 cm waist), if you do not mind a bit of bundled up fabric on your back.
