Classical Gothic Lolita High Waist Steel Boned Corset Skirt (2010)

Gorgeous skirt imo, the combination of the old looking gobelin with the fresh light blue accent is genius. It however takes a bit too long to put on for my taste and the matching top I got with this skirt came in two sizes too big so I was never able to pull off the coord I wanted so it sat in my closet for ages.

Selling the matching vest pictured in the mannequin, but it's complicated to find someone who will fit both sizes. Please check my other listings.

Fun fact; this is the precursor to their current Princess Portrait Skirt, so the construction is the same but the fabric choice is different and there is less detail on the new version. The feeling is completely different.

GENERAL INFO
  • "made by suede; outside back open skirt: double layer of the stiff corset part, steel boned, the inside of corset part is cotton lining; high waist;wide embroidery laces in front, lacing up back waist; scallop bottom with laces;"
  • "inside skirt: made by cotton, 4 layers of tiered trimmings back, elastic waist;"
  • Measurements pulled from the wayback machine: Waist 62-74cm/ 24-29in outside skirt length 57cm, inside skirt length 51cm
  • The overskirt part has no shirring and has a side zipper. The underskirt has a full stretchy waistband and only ruffles at the back, no zippers.
  • Some lace flowers in the front waist detailing will lift to a side which is a bit annoying but can be fixed with a white stitch. It came like this.
  • The back lacing looks like a shoelace, I would replace it with something less cheap looking.
  • The overskirt is thick and beautiful, lined, the underskirt doesn't match the quality but it can be used with different solid skirts so it's a very versatile piece.
  • First and only owner of this skirt.
  • I live with smokers but my dresses are kept away from any smoke. Keep in mind. Pet-free.
