It hurts my heart a little bit to part with this. The Meta Nun series was released just as I was really getting into lolita and I jumped on it- sold it, regretted it, and bought it again. The truth is I never really get to wear things this dramatic very often and I'm hesitant to get it altered so it fits, so I'm letting it go.
Seriously gorgeous OP from Metamorphose in a color sadly neglected by most brands, grey. Made of heavy cotton that swings dramatically, this dress has a more than full circle skirt. Truly one of the most versatile sets I've owned, it includes two detachable collar options and two sets of detachable cuffs! The base dress has cotton lace trimmed 3/4 sleeves and a square neck trimmed with the same lace. The detachable collars includes ribbon cross ties and a dramatic nun collar trimmed in lace with an embroidered cross emblem. The cuffs are a set of cotton princess sleeves trimmed in the same lace, and a set of elegant buttoned cuffs, again trimmed in cotton lace. The fit adjusts with detachable long, wide lined ties of the dress fabric.
Official measurements:
This set is secondhand, and while it appears to be in excellent condition, it is an older piece and there may be some flaws that I have not discovered. It does seem that the collar and flared cuffs were not worn at all, as if they are a brighter white then the button cuffs and the lace at the neckline.
