Rare skirt by Japanese label Ba-tsu which sadly no longer makes clothes. You might know their designs from the Battle Royale films or Dir En Grey collabs. This is a asymmetrical school girl type of skirt made from a wool mix tartan fabric with a flocked on velvet pattern. While this skirt is over 10 years old, it overall still looks very good. There is no pilling and as far as I can tell the velvet pattern is completely intact. However there are some signs of wear/age: mainly the waist ribbon shows visible wear and tear, there are some loose threads or thinner areas within the ribbon, but the material is still sturdy and the skirt is a little wrinkled from storage. The skirt buttons with two buttons like a wrap skirt and if the waist measurements are not ideal for you, I suppose you could easily move the buttons for a better fit.
