This is one of the older style Tiny Companions with the shiny (resin?) coating, from the "Crowning Glory II" collection.  (And I'm actually not sure if my Lolibrary link is for this version of this brooch, since they released this little guy in a couple different versions.)  It is brand new with tag, and has been kept in a nonsmoking home without pets.
