Aquarium Carnival peplum JSK in sax
-Purchased from ClosetChild in 2020, so I'm not the first owner. It was marked B grade at the time for:
-The missing waistbow chain,
-Two small stains on the waistbow (which are a very, very faint yellowish color),
-And some loose buttons. The left waist tie button is a tad loose (could be easily fixed with blue thread) and the right one has a small run from use.
Since then, the only changes to its condition have been:
-A couple of stains on the corset lacing. I'm not sure where these came from as the ribbon has been rolled up and kept stored for much of the time that I've owned this piece. I haven't tried washing it but you might have some luck if you give it a go. There's also a small fray at the end that could probably be fixed with a flame (or some fray-check glue)
-A small snag on the front of the dress. It stretches horizontally for a few inches but with it being so small and so close to the hem, it's really hard to see from a distance. I've included pictures from close up and far away to give you an idea.
The peplum, waist ties, and shoulder straps all appear to be in great shape. I'm not detecting any yellowing in the armpit area, the lace lays a bit flat there but that could be helped with an iron or some steam. It should also be noted that I own cats, but they're not allowed in my closet.
