Color is a true black, see listing for more photos
The skirt is pitch black, there is little to no shine to the velvet. Not sure why the pictures picked up the shine, but please carefully take a look at the attached photos. I've kept the lightened photos to show the incredible details.
I purchased this skirt in 2015 in some Japanese shop in Japan - looks like the skirt retailed for 18,900 JYP. The velvet is thick and luxurious, and pretty heavy. The embroidery is detailed and super beautiful. I am letting this piece go reluctantly, I hope someone will be able to cherish it. Really OOAK, would look great casually or with a small petti underneath. It is not meant to be extremely poofy.
