Old School Atelier Pierrot - Front Bustle OP - damages

Absolutely beautiful floral OP from 2006 by Atelier Pierrot. Grey-lavender color, extremely flattering cut, but the fabric is very gauzy and the body seams need to be redone due to superficial fraying. Would recommend for someone several cm under the measurements listed for tailoring purposes. Has a bustle skirt that can lift or release with ribbons (not fraychecked), inbuilt waist ties, elasticated sleeve cuffs, and a v-neckline as well as a fitted waist segment. The skirt is lined but the bodice is not. This is a very warm-weather friendly dress due to the fine gauze material, lack of upper body lining, and light floral motif. No shirring or stretch in the body, only the arms and shoulders. Stunning and unusual oldschool floral piece that just needs some TLC. Selling unlaundered, as is, due to the fray patches. Stock photo color from the GLBs is accurate. This dress will likely be shipped in a plastic bag or wrap to prevent snagging of the gauze in the box.

Damage: small amounts of fraying around the structural body seams and waist ties - while not noticeable during wear, these should be corrected by a professional tailor to prevent any further damage. The skirt and bust of the dress are in good condition - it is mainly the very fitted body of the dress that has the issue. The dress is entirely wearable as-is, but I won't fit into it once it's repaired, hence the sale. Fray patches circled in red - they are located on all the fitted, vertically-running body seams and the joins of the waist ties all around the waist section, and very slightly around the hemming of the waist ties. There are also a fair few loose threads on the dress and around seams. There are currently no major holes in the waist seams, just the fraying. The Atelier Pierrot brand tag is also lifting under one corner, but this is an easy fix. Please be aware that this dress is secondhand stock in need of repair, so it may have additional small signs of wear that I was not able to pick up on in my amateur inspection.

- I ship through the US Postal Service. Should boxes and contents be damaged or lost by USPS, I cannot be held liable for their actions. Though the loss of a parcel in the hands of the courier is extremely unfortunate, I am not in any way able to influence the actions and protocols of USPS after the box is posted.
- Please check your inbox after purchasing! I will message you to confirm recipient name and proper shipping address. Not confirming address may result in delayed shipping, and if the buyer remains unresponsive for a full week following contact attempts through multiple outlets, your box may be posted under the PayPal default name and address.
- Items with severe holes or fraying might not be lint rolled or water-laundered prior to sendout - this is to preserve the integrity of the fabric for future repairs on these "fixer upper" listings, and I keep them discounted appropriately.
- I will indicate, if applicable, whether items run large or small, and whether they are flexible or not. Please read the description carefully to make sure the garment works for you.
- Items are sold as-is (and are generally stated as such) unless they are noted as pre-laundered or laundered-before-sale. As-is items will need to be cleaned post-shipping. Pre-laundered will not.
- Though I do thorough inspections of all garments that enter and leave my possession, there may be minute flaws that I have missed in my amateur inspection. Please understand that all my items are used (unless noted otherwise) and will subsequently have subtle reflections of that in the state of the garment. I do my best to record and display any and all flaws in a garment, but there may be an occasional miss.
- Colors will display differently on different screens and monitors. I do my best to provide accurate color in my photos, but there may be slight differences.
- I will try to ship within 1-2 weeks of purchase. If time is an issue, please reach out to me and I will see what I can do.
- I do allow holds/reservations, but only for up to fourteen days. After this time, the item will be relisted without the hold marking.
- I do not ship outside the USA at this time.
- I own multiple cats, and though my garments are stored away from them, I cannot guarantee that no cat hair will be present. Please be aware if you have severe allergies.
- If you want waterproofing for your package, please let me know prior to the projected shipping date.
- I do permit bundling of items.
- Customers have 3 days to complete the payment after purchase. After that, the item will be relisted, and you may receive negative feedback if you do not adequately communicate with me the reason for the cancelled sale.
- Unworn or unused items may have manufacturing defects or storage-related wear. Please be aware that though these items are unused, there is a slim chance of defects that I will not have caught because I never wore or used the piece.
- I do not do payment plans at this time. However, as a substitute, I am able to do extended holds (up to 14 days), as long as you contact me and discuss.
- Boxes are posted during weekdays only, and weekends are not included in shipping time (in my state, post operations office cease for Saturday and Sunday, which may cause minor delays)
- I would advise against cutting or stabbing boxes or envelopes to open them - This may result in the damaging of your items, as they are not wrapped in extra paper or waterproofing unless you specifically request it. I try to pack minimally to reduce environmental waste, so please be wary of sharp box-opening methods. I also pack in the smallest possible mailer to ensure that shipping costs are as low as possible for the buyer, please let me know if you would like a roomy mailing box for your item so I can adjust the shipping rate accordingly.
