Rare Ode to Darwin jsk, new!

New and unworn, a lovely jsk from indie designer Belladonna. Getting this dress was somewhat of an ordeal and the end result has been that I fell out of love with it. However, it's the perfect print for lovers of science and natural history! The print features finches, books, moths, mushrooms, portraits, and of course, letters. From the designers:
"The design of this jumperskirt was loosely inspired by the feminine details of Emma Darwin's dress in the "Ode to Darwin" border print. It features a gathered bust bodice, with adjustable straps, and some pretty sweet lace around the neckline adorned with a metallic striped organza bow. There is corset lacing and partial shirring back for adjustable sizing. The trim on the JSK is a very lovely and airy floral lace that was hand dyed to a light ivory." Size 1. Measurements (taken from Belladonna): Bust: 30" - 38"
Waist: 24" - 32" The quality of this dress is very nice, with soft fabrics and pretty lace. Please do expect some minor flaws as it was made by hand! The only major thing I've noted is some awkward sewing by the end of the zipper flap that I honestly cannot figure what happened or how to fix it. I can't sew so I'm not gonna try! It looks like it need to be tacked down. I've included a pic.
