Hi! Its a very dark brown for sure, might look nearly black in low lighting however it's still clearly a brown when you put it against something black (like when i tried it on with a black cutsew, you definitely can tell the dress is brown)

I think the contrast with the white (NOT ivory or cream) lace makes it appear more black than it actually is
