I left these in the packaging and tried on the mint, but trust me you don't want to see the results of that D: There's a reason I'm selling them on, I do however have this stock set of photos of the same socks but in different colorways?

were they too stretched on you, was that the problem? if so, I fear I may have the same issue.
out of curiosity, though, what kind of trades are you open to? would you consider a partial trade for something worth less or more than the socks?

Not hugely, it was more the wall of fat above them, and they also only reached to the knee rather than over. It was like a lump of ham >_> not pretty. I am indeed open to above/below. It honestly depends on what it is and whether it would fit into my wardrobe :) Send me a PM with what you had in mind
