Bought new and worn 4-5 times. It is extremely soft and comfortable around the skin. However, it "sheds". I do not really know the word for it, but I noticed tiny pieces of white stuff falling from it when I shake it. It is noticeable if you have dark floors, but the petticoat itself still has poof so I don't think the shedding has done a lot of damage. I also had a hard time keeping it up as it kept sliding down
