I made a few modifications to this apron dress. The ties used to be on the side, and you would tie each of the sides together. I thought it looked awkward, so I converted them into waist ties that can be tied in the back (see photos). I also inserted more material in the sides and added channels with elastic so the sides can stretch a bit more but also give more coverage on the waist (also shown in photos). This Apron dress features 2 cat-shaped front pockets and adjustable shoulder straps.
