Not the first owner. Aside from being tied on, the lace itself is adjustable since the lace isn't fastened to the ribbon, if you wanted you could replace the satin ribbon to a black one for example. Colour is offwhite, not starch white, I've previously owned accessories in the same lace in starch white and there is a clear difference. It's not the same shade of ivory as MmM's "ivory" floral lace either. Pairs well with IW's light ivory/offwhite.
