A wonderful rare dress from the very early days of Moitie. This lovely piece features a functional corset lacing bodice over an overlay of rose lace. The rose lace continues on the side and back panels of the fitted and flattering bodice. The The skirt consists of three layers; the cotton base, a fine net overlay, and a cage over skirt made of ribbons with  tiny ribbon roses at every intersection of the cage. The long sleeves and square neck are trimmed with cotton lace. This dress is in amazing condition considering that it is over 20 years old. In all the years that I have owned it I’ve only worn it once. It’s truly a treasure from the early days! Because it is “vintage” there may be flaws I have not see.
YES, I do realize that I’ve started this auction very high, but I’m not entirely certain I’m ready to part with this! It’s a very precious piece of my collection, but I would like for someone to wear it happily.
