In my humble opinion, this is the finest iteration of the twinkle journey series. I love this navy blue above all the other color ways as it really reflects a night sky, and I think this is the most flattering and fanciful version of the JSK. It is wonderfully customizable also as the waist ties, the neck ties, and the bustle all button off and detach. The details are charming, with the chiffon ruffles on the shoulder straps and tiny star buttons, and also pintucking on the neck straps! I mean, there are tiny chiffon bows on the bustle for crying out loud. The matching head bow is fully wired so that you can customize the shape, and attaches with a small metal comb as well as ribbon ties that have tiny star charms attached. The sizing is very flexible as well, with a fully shirred back as well as corset lacing in two front panels that also contains generous shirring.
and of course the print! With the not-quite-Lady-Amalthea and her foal, twinkling stars, and treasure.
I’ve only worn it once in all the years I’ve owned it, and so now I release it from the Hoard! (Or horde, if you will)
