I bought this dress thinking I could coordinate it many ways, but it turns out either I'm not that creative or it doesn't go with anything in my wardrobe. Since I have had a lot of interest in this item I will be putting it for auction on Lacemarket - I just want to make back what I paid for it (around $300 USD) but I want to give everyone a chance so I will be starting the auction at $200 (if you saw me at swap meet, the price is higher now because it includes shipping.) The color is between a cream (official color name from Metamorphose) and an ivory. It is NOT white. If the skirt looks darker than the bodice, this is because despite being lined, it will still show through any significantly darker underskirt or petticoat (like the black petticoat on my dressform) The buttons all unbutton, and the four bows are attached with pins. The shoulder straps have two buttons on the back which can be detached and resewn to accomodate taller or broader people. The waist ties are detachable with two buttons on each. Even the waist ties have pintucks! This dress is actually QUITE heavy.
