A beautiful and well-constructed older piece by Metamorphose. The fabric is thick and has a nice texture.

This dress could probably fit up to a maximum bust size of around 101 cm, if the wearer has a shoulder width within 39 cm. A person with slightly wider shoulders could probably wear the dress if they have a smaller chest.

Information about condition: The dress is in an overall good condition, but there are a couple of irregularities to note; firstly, the gimp braid around the collar shows a tiny bit of white fabric along its outer edges. I do not know if this was intentional or a minor design error, but it is not very disruptive, as this is a less-thick trimming that anyway shows a little fabric through from certain angles up close. Secondly, there is some areas with a slight discolouration on the front side of the off-white collar (image 9). The fabric of the collar was never a stark white by design, but some areas are slightly darker upon inspection under brighter light. These marks could probably be removed by having the dress professionally dry-cleaned.

The garment has obviously been cleaned many times due to regular wear, but only with cold water and by traditional Scandinavian snow-cleaning. I can not guarantee that it would do well in a washing machine or in hot water, as I myself have never attempted it due to the piece being black and (off-)white, in addition to among the older of the main pieces I have had in my collection, but it may not pose much of a problem if you know your washing machine modes intimately and often clean your older main pieces that way successfully.
