This is truly an antique Bouquet piece. At 17 years old, the Bouquet High Waist OP from 1999 and is even older than some lolitas! This frumpy piece of history practically embodies the early days of lolita’s lighter side with it’s notable natural-kei feel.

It’s sad to say, however, that it has not gone all these years without damage. The lace has yellowed, the bust and sleeve shirring is dried up and stretched out a little too much, the waist ties are missing, there is a small stain on the left sleeve, and the top button hole is a little stretched but not nearly to the point that it doesn’t work. There may be other small things I missed but despite all that, it still looks beautiful.

I have cats and live in a smoke free home.
