CATS - There are many cats in my house. I will lint roll it before it goes out but cat hair is inevitable. It is everywhere. If you are HIGHLY allergic this is not the piece for you.
FRAGRANCE - I store my items with dryer sheets to avoid a musty closet/drawer smell but they will smell a little like the sheets on arrival (Mrs Meyer's Honeysuckle). If you have scent allergies you may need to rewash the piece when you get it.
