I purchased new from Japan. I bought this solely for wearing to the Angelic Pretty Tea Party this past weekend. I washed the OP and I wore the Headdress over a wig.
Lace is all intact HOWEVER, I accidently got a small liptint stain on the bow by the neck. I tried to wash it out but it didn't remove it completely and I was too scared to try bleach or any other stain remover. It's mostly faded now for the most part and its unnoticeable unless you're staring closely at it (Last photo)

I am located in USA. I TEMPORARILY MOVED BACK HOME DUE TO SCHOOL and my dad DOES smoke however he does not smoke indoors and smokes far from the house. We also do not open our windows for this reason because the rest of my family hates the smell and do our best to avoid that secondhand smoke smell. All my lolita has been securely stored in airtight boxes and will continue to be until I decided I want to leave the fashion entirely.
