I purchased this JSK at a comm swap meet a few years back, with the intention of redoing the alterations more neatly. I never got around to doing that, so I'm selling it on. This would be a great starter piece for a new lolita, or fun project for a someone crafty. :) Not really sure what to charge for it, so feel free to make an offer.

Besides the poorly done alteration, this dress is in pretty good condition for its age- a lot of the glitter is still intact, and the inner tulle is stiff and puffy. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I do think the pastel parts of the print have the typical fading problem of older AP cottons. The black does not look faded to me. (Closeup photos of the print look faded because I use a bright light for sales photos; the full piece photos on the hanger are most accurate to the color IRL.)

About the Alteration:

The dress bodice has been modified with an addition to the back panel, which increases the maximum bust to approximately 42in from the original ~38in. The minimum size is essentially unchanged due to back lacing and waist ties. The little panel is made of a thick t-shirt like material (?) with slight stretch. The original AP sateen back lacing has been replaced with shinier satin ribbon (presumably a longer length of ribbon?).
The thread on the alteration is quite messy, particularly on the inside, and does not match the color of the fabric. The waist gathers are not cleanly attached to the new panel part. The shirring channels have hanging threads. The problems aren't readily apparent when worn, but very obvious when viewed up close. See photos.
