The skirt is a thin cotton with crisp pleats. There is a thin cotton lining, plus the detachable petticoat with a tulle hem. This skirt would be cute for otome or casual wear, but cannot hold a full petticoat and isn't suited for lolita. There is a side zipper with a hook and eye closure.
I can't find this exact skirt in Lolibrary. The one linked below has a waist tie, which mine does not have.
This skirt is very short! I am 5'4" and it was well above my knees. The detachable petticoat adds a few inches of tulle underneath.
