It's a lightweight cotton dress with a lining that snaps into the bodice.  There's a finish on the fabric that makes it stiff and sort of crinkly, although it doesn't wrinkle easily, it does have an almost paper-like sound to it when the dress moves.  The dress is a dark gray color, and the lining is black.
