One of the waist ties was slightly shortened to gain fabric to patch the holes. It is not noticeable when worn. There are still holes in the lining from where the cigarette burned it but since it burned it is not fraying. There Is no smoke smell to the dress. Has a general feeling of being worn. The dress is very comfortable it should fit up to 37 inch bust comfortably
