The hidden zipper was replaced with a more massive and wear-resistant hidden zipper.  the zipper is sewn in with a hand seam that imitates a machine one, it is not noticeable when worn.  Also, lace is sewn on the shirring for the possibility of lacing, I can remove it before shipping if necessary.
