I love this dress and it was a dream item of mine, I just sadly don't like it on me because of some very necessary alterations to make it more suitable to my height and proportions. Perhaps in the future I can rebuy this dress and take it in in the necessary places, but for now I just don't really reach for it because of the adjustments needed and my lack of time to do this. This would best fit someone taller (I am just under 5'3) as it is very long, the sleeves are long and big, and the proportions seem to be for someone who is more proportionately large/tall and not just someone with a bigger chest like myself! Beautiful black linen with silver buttons, very comfortable and breathable, super fun style and I know I will be sad to sell this one, but I just do not have the time to alter it.
Only worn once for a few hours for tea with friends. I wore a blouse under it and was mostly in a temp controlled environment/in a cooler environment, so I haven't washed it as this one wear wasn't very substantial, but I can wash it before sending if requested! I will be steaming it before sending of course. Linen wrinkles so it would definitely need more steaming/ironing upon arrival. (Sorry for the not so great photos!! I didn't have the time to get nice ones on my dressform, but if needed I can take better ones! Looks much better on a person regardless, especially one who can fill out the arms.)
XL given measurements are true in my opinion and are as follows:

Waist: 39 inches (99 cm) (can be made smaller with waist ties!!)

Please note that I live around smokers and have pets. All my clothes are kept clean and away from them (and no smoke is indoors or in my room). This has only been worn once and has not been around any smoke and will be steamed (and washed if requested) before sending. If you are highly allergic/sensitive to these things please be aware and perhaps avoid buying, but this item should not be affected by anything at all.
