The dress is supremely comfortable and very simple and cute. I styled
it Country, with red gingham ribbon accessories because it screamed summer picnic to me. But I also listed it under sweet, cuz Cherries!
The skirt portion is unlined, so a white petticoat is recommended ( I have a pink petti and it definitely affected the appearance of the white.)
Being handmade, there are sewing flaws I’ve documented. Namely: machine tangled thread inside where rickrack was attached, stray setting threads throughout the inside, and lace that was caught while sewing a buttonhole on one strap.
Max bust and waist with the shirring likely will go higher than listed, maybe up to 55 inches. There is plenty of seam allowance inside the bodice, as well, if you need to let it out some.
