I sewed this last year out of thrifted curtains, the pattern is woven in and the weave is thick and textured. The capelet was made using a Victorian Maiden GLB pattern, the skirt is a simple gathered rectangle with a fully shirred waist. Both pieces are fully finished with French seams and linings (however the back seam of the skirt was overlocked but not French seamed, truly have no idea why I did that), and can be machine washed on cold and delicate in a laundry bag. The headdress was sold separately, so this is JUST for the skirt and capelet. This was made to my measurements, I am 5'2 with a 28-inch waist, 42-inch hips, and around 15-inch shoulders (though both pieces have a bit of give in them).
