A Gloomth and the Cult of Melancholy OP dress from a few years before the brand changed their clothing catalogue, size range/names and cotton fabric colourways in their major re-brand. The "Victoria Mourning Dress", like the rest of the Gloomth catalogue, was not generally available in a purple colourway. Due to leftover purple fabric from a custom costuming order for a theatre play or something similar, the brand had a small limited time event where buyers could request their standard designs made in the leftover purple cotton blend fabric. The limited fabric means that this is most likely the only "Victoria" in this purple colourway, or possibly the only purple "Victoria" in this size. This is the older version of the "Victoria" with wider cuffs, more pillowy sleeves etc. (The brand images of the black colourway show this older version worn.)

This OP is not lined, like all other cotton dresses from Gloomth (as far as I am aware). The black buttons have been reinforced with black sewing tread to prevent them from falling off, which is only visible on the inside of the dress. The dress originally came with a matching plain fabric belt that could be tied around the waist, but I have not been able to locate this missing item. The dress is overall in a quite good condition, but there is a very light piling to the fabric under the arms and on the underside of the sleeve cuffs, but it is only visible on very close inspection.
