Description: A solid navy blue sailor style one piece dress from Metamorphose. This is the 2006 sailor series OP. It has short sleeves, partial shirring in the back with corset lacing over it, a tiered skirt, and a button placket all the way down the front. It comes with a detachable scarf and tie (the extra button on the front is for securing the tie! how thoughtful!) and a separate lining skirt with hard tulle for volume. It still has a spare button attached to the inside tag. Trimmed with navy blue anchor motif buttons, and white line tape and offwhite cotton blend raschel lace on the sleeves, collar, and bottom hem. Please note that this listing is for the OP + underskirt only. The additional items in the coordinate photo and the cupcake shaped petticoat shown under the dress in other photos are not included in the listing and are not currently for sale.
Condition: Very good for its age, with some feeling of wear and a few very minor stains -- some very small light colored spots on the skirt in the front and one side (each are in a line about 1 cm long), and some areas of the lace have minor yellowing, mainly around the neckline. However, none of these are very obvious unless you are examining the dress closely. It is also lightly wrinkled from storage/being shipped. I purchased this dress secondhand and it arrived with dry cleaning tags on, so it has been freshly cleaned. Comes with all original detachable parts (self fabric corset lacing, scarf and tie, separate hard tulle petticoat skirt). I tried it on briefly but did not like the fit. This particular OP is a little more plus size friendly than many Meta sailor OPs but sadly still too small for me, and that is why I'm selling it.
