Size M. Like other IW skirts of this type, the shirring is pretty unforgiving and it runs small, so I would recommend being more on the lower to middle end of the measurement for comfort. Please note as well that 55 cm is just the length of the top portion of the skirt, and the underskirt adds another few inches.
This skirt has an overall feeling of age, but with no particular flaws. The fabric is a little bit fuzzy, but not really pilling. The cotton is very thick, so I think it will still last a good while.

-I have a cat who sheds a lot, items will generally be washed/cleaned/lint rolled before sending and he is not allowed in the closet but please be aware.
-Item(s) will be shipped out within 7 days of payment unless otherwise specified on the listing. (No car and the post office is far away--can make it hard to go often, esp in winter 😅. ) I can arrange for the package to be picked up by Canada Post, if you need it more quickly (they charge $3.50 for this service so it will be added to the invoice).
-I can only ship to the address in Paypal, or I lose Paypal's seller protection. I think it may affect buyer protection, as well. Please ensure it is correct, and if there is a mistake let me know and we can do a new invoice.
