I would definitely recommend this dress for a warm climate. Where I live I can hardly wear it in summer.
It has full back elastic and has been kept in pristine condition. Bows and ties stored separately to prevent pulling. 
Slip underlining. A line petticoat  recommended. This house has pets but has been stored in a closet away from pets.
