Super cute and fun sailor piece from Fantastic Wind, which uses an almost marbled sax and gold organza(?) and has a bunch of gorgeous details. Unfortunately I realised a while after getting it that sailor vibes aren't my thing and I don't really reach much for OPs unless they're more versatile styles, so hopefully someone else can give this piece the love it deserves since I only ever tried it on.

I've photographed some of the fun details, which include star embroidery on the collar, star buttons and a metal decoration on the front bow. It also has nicely voluminous sleeves and because it's made of organza, the skirt has a bit of volume of its own. The lining is a very smooth white polyester. The minihat uses the same organza as the dress on the outer layer, with a lace hem and bows, and has not been used.

The size 2XL is listed as 98 bust and 80-84 waist, and fit me quite well at 96 bust/78 waist. The shirring is slightly unusual in that it's only on side panels at the waist, which is why the bust isn't listed as having stretch. I also found the back zipper a little bit hard to reach, so would recommend tying a ribbon to it or something if you're going to be zipping and unzipping the dress without assistance.

As the hat needs to be protected in transit + the dress is high volume anyway, this will require a large mailer to ship.
