The fabric is a wool mix but it is lightweight weave fabric.

I haven't worn this for ages now but it got damaged one time I wore it where it snagged. I repaired the small hole with a patch because the weave of the fabric was difficult to mend any other way. The patch was added to the reverse of the fabric and sewn. It is not that noticeable from the right side, please see photos.
