Are you a true size 9 or more closer to a 10 with these shoes? Just asking since I know some shoe brands vary

I typically wear between a 9 and 10 in shoes. When I tried them on, they fit, but were a bit tight. Because the material is quite rigid and the sole is quite firm, I decided it would be better to size up because I don't think they will "break in" easily. So I would say this is more of a true 9.
