This is Violet Fane's Mourning Locket wooden brooch. I lost it for a brief period and because I'm impatient I purchased another one, at which point it showed up, of course. While it was lost it must have been scraped somehow, causing the 3 small tears that can be seen in the photo. They look worse in close up than they are, and I suspect with a little craft paint they'd hardly be noticeable at all. I have tried to price it accordingly. Note that the shine/texture is not damage, it's just an effect of the lighting.
