I removed the elastic to be sure that this item would fit me, I threw away the elastic so it is important that your waist measurement be within the measurements listed. there is still come good give in the fabric.
I have circled the areas that were resewn from removing the elastic. There is also some wrinkling because of the elastic placement, but it looks natural when worn.
