Coquette Doll (Japanese Indie Brand) JSK

This JSK is truly a rare piece of lolita history! Coquette Doll was a classic indie brand that focused on classic styles and was most active in the early to mid 2000s. This dress is quite lovely in both construction and materials used and is reminiscent of some Mary Magdalene designs. The fabric is thick and high quality and has a pearskin-like texture - there is no care tag so I can't tell what it's made out of though. The stitching is all on par with other brand lolita clothing. It is fully lined.

I'd like to keep the dress myself but it's too tight for my ribcage. This dress is recommended for people with petite frames. It has waist ties on the back for a snug fit, which can also be tied in the front for a different look. The shoulder ties are adjustable if you need to lengthen or shorten the dress. It closes with an invisible back zipper.

Bought used, never worn by me.

Length: 99cm (includes 4cm lace)

Bust: 94cm (the bust is gathered - 94 is the measurement of the bust filled out)

Empire waist: 71cm (can be made smaller with waist ties)

What are the waist measurements, since you said it was small on your ribcage?

Also the colors seem kind of warm in this lighting, is this photograph true to color? If not, what is a more accurate color?

Hi, thanks for your questions! Yes the color is accurate, but the fabric is such that it changes color slightly depending on lighting. In a dark room it looks more towards purple - the pictures were taken in sunlight. And to confirm, the empire waist is the slimmest part of the dress :)

Hi, I wanted to follow up - are you interested in the dress?

Ahh, I'm sorry. I just realized it says empire waist (and can't delete my first comment).
