This JSK has been altered and has some signs of wear/damage 

first, the alterations: I am not the one who originally altered this dress, so I don’t know where they got the fabric from. Definitely not the waist ties, I’ve compared the length to other pieces and they’re the same. That being said the pink velvet is an absolutely stunning match. You really can’t tell that it’s a different fabric. The inner lining is not quite the same. This was originally altered a little larger and I had it taken in a bit at the waist by a professional bespoke tailor to give it more of a shape. Please check out the pictures, it’s about an inch of fabric added at either side. The original alteration had the skirt re-gathered beautifully, and when I had it taken in slightly they also re-gathered the skirt so it really is not noticeable in the shape of the skirt or dress, the gathering is uniform across the waist and not spaced out over the alteration. The volume of the skirt is huge so there is definitely enough fabric for this.

As for the damage there are a light stains. I received the dress in this condition and they were not all fully disclosed to me so I’m not sure exactly what they are. I’ve had this dress professionally cleaned twice, once when I received it and once now before posting it for sale. I tried my best to find every spot or mark. I want to say that it might seem like I’m pointing out a lot of things, but these are all pretty faint and small and in my option not really noticeable but I want to be 100% clear on condition as this is a rare piece (one of 15 made in this color) and a collectors item. There is a spot on the right breast next to the chest frills, there is a small black mark on the left strap, there are light stains on the bottom hem ruffles as pointed out in photos. There is a small orange dot on the left waist tie but right above it there is light dark shadow/smudge. The dark smudge I believe is from when I took it out of my car and the waist tie was hanging out of the dry cleaner bag and it rubbed against the car. I believe it would come out with cleaning but as I’ve just had it cleaned I am not going to attempt to reclean it. Again, this is not super noticeable. There are also about 4 spots on the hem where it looks like it was poorly tacked up. I didn’t notice this at first so when I had it tailored I never asked them to repair that so it never got repaired and it’s from the previous owner. I don’t know what happened, it looks like they tried to repair some loose hem stitching but didn’t do the best job. This would be an easy fix.
the last condition issue is a fading of the lace dye. Again I received it like this so I don’t know what happened, but it appears to me to just be fading from age/light exposure. The velvet is not faded, only the lace trim between the ruffles. It’s hard to capture on camera because it’s subtle, but you can see it when you compare the lace from opposite ends of the dress. The lightest is on the right hip, the darkest is on the bottom left

The measurements as measured by me are about 82cm waist, 97cm bust. These are amateur measurements so they might not be perfectly accurate as the three-dimensional shaping of the dress makes it hard to get an accurate measurement. But this lines up with what I know my measurements to be and it was tailored to fit me so I believe this to be reasonably accurate.
