BTSSB old school skirt black & white
BTSSB old school skirt black & white
Old School skirt from BTSSB in classic black x white colorway
I have had this skirt almost since I got into lolita back in 2007. I'm not sure what year it's from, but it's old Baby. It still has a lot of life left--the black hasn't faded, which amazes me. It does have a few stains and minor discolorations on the lace (see pics). I considered this my kick-around skirt but my style has changed so much that it's time for us to part ways. The max waist on this is 27.5 inches. You may be able to get away with a 28 if you don't mind being squished, but to be comfy I wouldn't go past the 27 inch mark. There is a little bit of elastic at the back, but it doesn't stretch much. Probably ideal for a 25-26 inch waist. This skirt is also a wee bit short (again, old Baby). I'm 5'4" and it hits about 2 inches above my knees. The skirt is very full and has a little built in petti plus liner. It comes with waist ties, I just forgot to put them back on for the photos. I have in the past thrown this in the washer on a cold, gentle cycle and air dried it with no problem. Stain pics:
#1 On the rose lace that runs horizontal is on the front left side. Little less than dime sized.
#2 On the hem lace on the right hand side. Appears to be rust possibly. Small but dark.
~All others: Just general wear along the edges of lace in certain places. They are very light discolorations. **I have pets but keep them away from my lolita clothes. I lint roll everything before sending it out just to be sure, but some wandering hairs may escape my notice.**
