Hi, does the lace part on this headband stand straight up or does it lie flat on the head? Or something in between?

Hi! There's no wire but the cotton lace is pretty stiff and stands up on it's own. It stands straight up, sort of in a halo style, similarly to this: https://lolibrary.org/items/ap-holy-ribbon-maid-headband-2015 :)
